Imperial Room Chinese Restaurant

This restaurant always offers great value for the money. My family has been coming here since I was a child. If you're in the mood for some tasty Chinese food, this place will not disappoint, especially for a midweek takeout option. The Vietnamese menu is even more authentic, according to my Vietnamese friends. I tried the Bo kho (beef gravy) and the duck with fungus mushrooms, both of which were delicious. We also decided to try the rice hot pot and we were glad we did. I would definitely order all of these dishes again.

I went to this restaurant over the weekend and it has remained the same for more than ten years. The Vietnamese salad is amazing and the sauce for the cold rolls is delicious!! My favorite dish is the tamarind prawns. The service is hit or miss, but it has a cozy, family-run business feel so you don't expect fine dining service. Overall, I love the food and plan to continue dining in or taking away from here for the next ten years.

This establishment has been here for many many years and I hope for many more. The service is always friendly, polite and attentive. The food is fresh, healthy and flavoursome, I've never had an oily or poor tasting dish here, and like so many Asian cuisines this does not leave you with stomach pains.I highly recommend the Imperial Room for a lovely family dine in or for take away and have at home.

This was our first visit to this restaurant on our way to the Mitcham cinemas. We had a delicious Vietnamese red duck curry that was excellent value for money. We will definitely be returning in the future!
