We went to this restaurant on Wednesday evening with a group of friends we loosely refer to as the 'Curry Club '. We meet once a month ish and go to a different restaurant. This month was India Lodge in Stotfold. The service was very good indeed, the man who took our order knew about the menu and he accommodated one of our people with a special request. The food was delicious and well prepared, presented cooked. The staff were very patient with our friend who has a disability and showed nothing but compassion for him. Make sure to try the Tandoori Mixed Grill, Tandoori Chicken, Tandoori Duck Shashlick, and Chicken or Lamb Tikka – they come highly recommended.
We regularly order from here and can honestly say we can’t fault the curries we have had, but unfortunately tonight when we opened the bag of the poppadums to see a dead fly there was a complete and utter disgrace, having called the restaurant and discussed this they did not seem to be bothered as the poppadums are complimentary such a shame as we use this very very regularly Service: Take out
Restaurant serves a new lager. Very smooth. On the food side, I know each chef has his own methods and the same dish can be different at different restaurants. The chicken madras I had here was totally different from what I'm used to. Not sure i like the difference. Curry sauce was like a soup almost as if it had been blended, the same as my friends vindaloo. Service: Dine in

We moved from Stotfold to Cornwall 6 years ago. My parents came down to visit this week and bought us an India Lodge take away. Still amazing quality food, by far the best curry we have had in 6 years. We miss the India Lodge and the staff, especially Parvez. Thank you, we will be back for meal when we are next in the area.
1 meal and 1 beer 24 pound and the food wasn't all that it was ok I had a chicken chilli massala plain nan and pilau rice and a bottle of cobra which was 6.50 !!! I won't be going bk there are better restaurants out there and cheaper with better food Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner
