Customer service will need to be improved, a simple thing as smiling to the customers it is easy to do. I would have to admit that I have tried the restaurant three times in the last couple of months with big hopes and their cooking style did not impress me much - tasting more like a ready made meal that you could pick up from one of the supermarkets. The flavors are not punchy, and in one occasion the dal was bit too smoky (maybe the smoked paprika was added in double quantity.)
It was not crowded tonight (everyone was on the terraces.) the opportunity for the boss to offer the children to visit the kitchen and to discover the heat of the tandoor and the cooking of the naan and brochettes. an initiative that was very appreciated! Also appreciated are the mixed broochettes with tandoor (viandes and shrimps cooked to perfection, very tender), rogan josh, josh madras and mellow naan! A treat!
we have been 2x in the Indian restaurant so far and it was all very satisfied with eating (from the card - no experience with the buffet offer.) the staff is very friendly and we did not have to wait long or taking into account that inidish eating is not done as fast as a pizza. the only one (which will probably not be typical Indian) is dessert, because we have forgot the second time.
We ordered a menu fore two, which means a very tasty soup with naans as a starter. Than grilled meat and shrimp which were all very tasty. This and two different meat dishes with naans and two different types of rice. Everything was very tasty. The lady serving us was very nice and the owner came and chatted and was a true host. We discovered this place by chance roaming on the beautiful streets of the city in the evening. The service was quick and food quality was really good. The place is very near to the city railway station and can be found using Google Maps. The menu was detailed. The Indian food out in Switzerland is costly overall so it may pack a punch on your pocket.
Excellent Indian food....The owner and the staff are very courteous and the restaurant is well furnished and a beautiful place. Good wine list that the owner is pleased to let you try before the choice. Starter tawa jinga(shrimp)/main Huhn vinadaloo/dessert Gulam Jamu(milk balls) were all excellent to make the food extra sharp. Beautiful Naan also!!!
in the middle of the old town we can enjoy the best Indian dishes. the locally radiates pleasant atmosphere without "black taste".The always friendly welcome by the managing director and the good service deserve our special mention. the restaurant is therefore always very well visited.
Had an excellent family meal at Indian Masala. Great hospitality, the owner (from Bangalore) was very accommodating, especially to change dishes a bit to suit the palate of our children. Réservez une table maintenant
