Having found an Indian restaurant in middle of nowhere, we were looking forward for a good experience.But to our disappointment the food was pretty substandard. It felt like we were eating leftovers rather than freshly cooked food.The service be better not talked about, there was none. We had to wait 5 minutes for someone to turn up.Oh, and I shouldn't fail to mention, Black Forest cake. What should have been a genuine cuisine (given the restaurant is in Black Forest), it turned out to be bought from Lidl supermarket. We went to eat the afternoon buffet (unlimited). We were told there will be two sorts of vegetables, chicken curry, rice, salad, naan, daal and blackforest cake. Once we started to take food from the buffet, we realized there was only one vegetable. After a short discussion, the waiter agreed to prepare the second vegetable dish for us (which arrived after half-way through our lunch). All the food tasted stale and not very authentic Indian. The naan tasted like it was made from croissant dough. Food is strictly just okish. Spread was elaborate for us but the taste was nothing great. Booked by tour operators for group dining. We waited for a while for the previous group to get done. I remember there was a bhel station and aloo patty burger. There was a serving of black forest cake as dessert. Great views and the market was so lively. I liked the locales and the place around bursting with people, decorated with flowers.

This restaurant is run by a Gujarathi who is a citizen of Germany. His brother also helps him. We had a good dinner here. Restaurant serves tasty Indian dishes. One drawback is confusions in order receiving and messing up. We had ordered chicken tikka with gravy but got dry. Quantity ordered was one but two were served. Ginger Ale, Mango Lassi etc were fantastic. Recommended for a good dining.
Full of coach parties with no regard for ordinary visitors. We were asked to sit outside to make room for another coach party even though we were already seated. We opted to leave as it was obvious they only want the coach parties and had no time or desire to serve smaller groups. Although we didn't try it, the food (buffet) looked poor too.AVOID THIS PLACE !
a very decent and cosy atmosphere, good staff and a very keen and helpful Manager/Owner. Food is reasonably priced and is tasty. Portion sizes are sumptuous. The best part is that it remains open till 9.30 pm which is very rare for titsee food joints.
Good service. Personnel were very courteous and helpful. Food was hot and authentic Indian style. Very close to the lake and in the market place.

The food was decent. Not many items. Considering the location, not a bad option if Indian food is the priority. Taste wise not up to the mark.
