My mother and I decided to eat here as it’s local and in walking distance. Although we had been urged to avoid the place from neighbours and friends we thought how bad can it be reviews look ok, but we so wish we had listened. The young waiter who was polite took our order. When the food arrived we noticed the yogurt had no cucumber but instead subbed with onions, also the garlic and cheese Nan had a non melting cheese paneer instead of normal cheese , so we just had big chunks of cheese. However the lamb dish had 2 pieces of lamb and the rest was pork. The service is excellent, both waiters were so attentive. Popadoms were light and crispy, samosas as a started were delish and my curry main, well what can I say, but probably the best curry I have ever had. That’s saying something from a girl with the curry mile in Manchester on her doorstep. All I can say is what’s not to like with this restaurant, highly recommend for all you curry lovers out there with the added bonus of good prices for those who want great value for money. Will be paying it another visit very soon
I have been meaning to write a review about this restaurant for some time. The food here is of a consistently high standard and the manager and his chef always go the extra mile to provide you with authentic curries. I am from Manchester so I think I do know something about a decent curry. I have visited some other Indian restaurants in the Costa Blanca too and none of them compare to the Indian Palace for the quality and freshness of the food. If you like an authentic Indian you will love this place.
An absolute gem of an Indian restaurant! The flavours are vibrant, the spices are perfectly balanced, and each dish feels like a delightful journey through India. Fantastic service and a cosy ambiance make it a top pick for authentic Indian cuisine enthusiasts. Kel (the owner) is a lovely guy, always smiling and very friendly. I'm a regular since June 2023!
