Had a lovely time at the Indian Palace for my partner's birthday dinner. We were immediately greeted at the door and promply seated for our reservation. The service was great, we felt very taken care of by the staff and even got a reccomendation for an upgrade to our éntree to aaloo tikki chaat which was delicious and very flavorful. The atmosphere had classy undertones and overall felt very clean. The food came out quickly and tasted great! We got butter chicken and lamb korma with basmati rice garlic naan. I definitely love the food there and they’ve been consistently delivering my favourite dishes :palak panner and malai kofta! I just love the cream from malai kofta (also the malai kofta! . It’s delicious, creamy and has the nutty flavour combined with the spices. Oh, how could I forget Kashmiri naan and coconut naan (it’s the only indian resto I know that has coconut naan : the right amount of dates/sultanas and nutes (including pistachios . Top, top, top. This was disappointing. They didn’t have two things we ordered that were on the menu. We went there especially for the dosas but the machine was broken so we couldn’t get that. We wanted Papri chaat but those were also unavailable. The service was not very good, the waiter didn’t show much interest and the food was lacking in flavour. Food was absolutely delicious, I ordered the paneer naan and the Banarsi Baigan (eggplant) dish. The naan was perfectly cooked with filling throughout and the eggplant was so delicate it would melt in your mouth. Very happy to have stumbled across this place. I'll be back for sure! Definitely can get around this place ordered the beef vindaloo and the palak paneer. Both meals were very flavoursome and left my partner and I extremely satisfied. This cozy and unassuming restaurant served an array of delicious and authentic food. Catering to all people and palates, the dishes were well crafted and executed. The host was extremely warm and hospitable which made the experience extra special.
