I really love this charming little coffee shop. During my first visit, I initially had trouble seeing the building as it is older and hidden behind overgrown foliage, which I later discovered was their outdoor garden area in the front yard. There is also a lot of greenery on the side, making me question if the place was open. It is a small, older beach bungalow that has been converted into a coffee and baked goods shop, and it can get quite busy at times. The plants add to the charm now that I know what is hidden behind them. This Coffee House has been local for over fourteen years. They cook everything fresh from muffins to sandwiches in their own kitchen. They are the third location of the Black Crowe locations in St. Pete (they roast their own coffee beans). The location is nestled and easily missed. Look for the ?The Rose? the large pink building. It sits across the street. If you see the highway exit you passed it. There is limited parking. There is bohemian styled outdoor and indoor seating. The servings are satisfying. The prices are competitive . The service is welcoming. The food was fresh and flavorful.
I brought my father to Indian Shores for a week, and we discovered this charming coffee shop just a short walk from our condo. We were impressed by the excellent customer service provided by the staff and the wide selection of coffee options. I particularly loved the lavender latte and the delicious treats, with the orange cranberry being my top choice followed closely by the banana walnut muffin. Additionally, the coffee shop offers a lovely shaded seating area, or you can cross the road to access the Gulf, where there are picnic tables and trash bins available.
I think I'm a coffee lover, I'm sure a real coffee lover would be totally on coffee lol school, but we went out to delish coffee this morning and this place hasn't disappointed us! I love the vibes. the girls there were really nice and helpful to help us choose. sad I was too eager to have my coffee I didn't photograph! I ordered the caramel sutra and lemon muffin and omg! so yes! not excessively sweet or watered or over flavored with fabric. it really tasted like coffee lol surprise! exactly what we needed to start the day of the tourist! Very friendly staff (which is critical for a good coffee shop experience), gluten-free muffins baked daily on-site, local source coffee (Black Crow St Pete). -1?? because the shop was dark and awkward (not handicap friendly but technically accessible). Will be back, whenever we can get there before they close at 2pm.
This coffee shop is a hidden gem!! Cold brew is amazing and the chocolate chunk muffins didn't disappoint!! They offer sugar free (vanilla and caramel) options which was great!! Parking is limited and coffee house is nestled and could easily be missed. Staff is super friendly! Would definitely recommend!!
