We had a party of 24 people to celebrate my Dads 85th birthday (he loves this restaurant) and I’ve got to say, it was a fantastic experience. The food was utterly delicious. Everyone had something different and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. I personally had a Chicken Dhansak which is my go-to choice of main meal and so have had many over the years. The one I had in the Indigo was probably the best one I’ve ever had. Loads of tender chicken and the most beautiful tasting Dhansak sauce….not too spicy but hot and very, very tasty. The staff are incredibly attentive, helpful and polite to everyone in the restaurant and can’t do enough for you…..the levels of service are excellent and...
Sometimes you just take things for granted, good food, happy staff, good service,pleasant atmosphere. We are so fortunate to have this excellent restaurant on our doorstep. I have not reviewed it for years, but feel I owe it to them. We don’t go every month, but are regular customers, and have been using it for over 15 years. I can honestly say we have never had a bad meal, even the takeaway service is up to restaurant standard. So really it’s just a well deserved “pat on the back” for them. Our favourite dish is the Rezala, spicy and creamy. If you plan to go on a Tuesday booking is advisable ,as they do a heavily discounted full menu (cash only), at around £13pp.
Food was decent and good value! Just as a larger party a little disappointed with our service. Felt rushed between starter and mains but then long wait for our plates to be cleared after mains, then another long wait for our bill. Also feel it’s a little unsanitary to expect customers to eat their starter and main with the same cutlery (this was intentional as I had put my cutlery on the plate and it was removed and placed back on the table) especially when we could see the tables around us receiving fresh cutlery for their mains. As I say, it’s a good restaurant, perhaps the disappointment comes because we were a bigger party.
This place has a long standing good reputation in the area and we've visited a few times over the years. Service is good and never had any problems. I didn't enjoy my meal this time, which was a dahl. It was overcooked and very tasteless. My family enjoyed their meals though. Place still needs bringing up to date decor wise. Very tatty and dated.

We booked Indigo because we were going to the theatre nearby. The food tasted fresh and well cooked. Service was very good too. We were all pleasantly surprised at how nice the meals were. We’d definitely come again
Another wonderful meal at my favourite Bangladeshi restaurant- just perfect. Great food, lovely friendly staff- what's not to like? Be back soon. Probably later in the week. If not sooner.
as a party of six there for an early dinner on a Saturday night we had a good greeting and the service was fast and friendly everywhere. eating.
this is a restaurant that has excellent menu, unlike regular indians. I regularly go in a big group and at some point with the family. I can.

I live very locally in this Indian restaurant and with it on my doorstep we have visited many paints and always impressed. what I like most.
enjoyed the evening as the food was good and the friendly staff helped with our choices good size potions arrived in good time will go again
