It was a beautiful day for a drive so we decided to head back to the Inglewood Hotel. It had been a while as the last time we were there the food was nice but the service was very slow and the prices are quite high for what is on offer.Today the service was prompt and pleasing but when my Lamb Salad arrived - braised lamb, rocket, goats cheese, tomatoes, pesto dressing and pepitas. This venue was resurrected by the proud owners and is a complete joy to visit.. For breakfast... lunch or dinner. A great menu with home made wood oven pizzas an absolute treat. If you want a place to have cake and a drink... a stop over for a relaxed meeting with friends in the bar, or planning a function this is the place! We recently ate here with my mum and by group , i was worried at first because of the fact there would be 7 prams and bubs there but the staff were so friendly and accommodating. I liked the food also that much that I went for dinner a few nights later with family and we loved it. The food actually tastes and looks like it has had time and effort put into it. The dining is very cosy with a wood fire and daytime has beautiful views of the hills. The female waitress on Saturday night 8th July was so lovely and friendly too not sure of her name. I would eat here again and thought it was great !

Perfect place for lunch or dinner for - couple, family, friends or a function. Fantastic food, an extensive menu features gourmet options as well as the favourites at an affordable price. The vibes and view are both great, very impressed with the tunes. The restaurant is situated on the side of a hill with views of landscape, farm animals and streams, you hardly feel 5 minutes from Adelaide. I can't believe I drive past so often! Three of us for lunch. Sunny day with warm fireplace to keep us cosy. Lunch was great. Two of us had the pork belly - sticky sauce on a large slab of pork belly and tasty salad.The flathead fish and chips was similarly well received. Oh the soft shell crab was a fantastic lead in.Good service
The scenery and setting is just beautiful, the menu sounds delicious but unfortunately the actual food was very average and nothing special and for the inflated price, you would expect something with a little extra touch. Won't be back anytime soon.
