We had come up on the cable car from Bregenz with our family dog to break the monotony of a grey saturday and with the Gasthof Nr the station closed slid our for ten minutes down to the Pfanderole. A traditional farm house in style the restaurant was teeming with people at lunch time with only luck ensuring we could secure a table.I was stunned by the quality of the food and the speed of service for such a busy place and the bill when it came was very modest for where we were and what we had enjoyed.I took the house wurst with sauerkraut and my wife the leberknodel both were excellent.Although we reside in nearby Switzerland it was our first visit here. It will not be our last.
Considering the fact that you usually expect the restaurant at the top of the hill to be not so pocket friendly and may be of a decent Quality, you would be blown by surprise as the food is both pocket friendly as well as of pretty good quality. The terrace garden is especially a nice place during sunny days to soak in the atmosphere and enjoy your Food and Drinks. The Service is friendly and welcoming and mostly quick.

in consideration of the fact that we were at the top of the hill, we expected that the quality was average and the price on the higher side, but we were pleasantly surprised by the quality as well as the prices of the food. a sunny day, the terrace offers a pretty decent view to sit, relax, enjoy their dishes/drinks, and enjoy them in the view and atmosphere.
