Ireland's Four Provinces

My wife and I had an after wedding party here twenty years ago. It is basically unchanged. If it ain't broke don't fix it. The only disappointment was the service. I spent more than a decade in hospitality, most of it as a waiter. There are a few basic things that are necessary to be a good waiter--knowledge of the menu, salesmanship, unobtrusive anticipation of your guests' needs and awareness of timing. Perhaps it is the fault of the trainer, but my server possessed none of those qualities except for a friendly attitude. When I needed something he was nowhere to be found, but the second I put my credit card in the book? Magically appeared.

This place was incredibly disappointing!! We brought our well-behaved, friendly dog, expecting to enjoy some time on the patio. But, we were shocked to be told that all dogs are forbidden!! even in the outdoor seating area!! They told us we sit on the patio and leash our dog to the street. We would never do that!! We’re baffled by this policy. I’m sorry for owner of this place!! There’s no reason a dog shouldn’t even be allowed to sit outside! They turned away our sweet dog, and we won't be returning. If you’re an animal lover, I’d steer clear of this place.

I was visiting from New Zealand and came to your bar to enjoy a drink with a friend. A staff member came up to me to tell me what I was wearing was inappropriate and offered to give me a t-shirt to cover up absolutely appalling! I did not hesitate in leaving the bar as no way I want to spending my money at a place that discriminates women like this!!!! I was wearing a pink crop top with a black skirt. What erae we living in!! I'd actually give it 0 stars if i could!

Very friendly and very Irish waitress. Top notch service. Ordered their Thursday special steak Killarney (sp). Said it was a ,8oz sirloin more like a 9 oz piece of shoe leather. Brussels sprouts were pretty good but the mashed potatoes were dry and needed a little help. Small ladle of gravy would have made all the difference. Decent for $18 but would switch to the bangers and mash (which does include gravy). Réservez une table maintenant

Hostess followed me to the bathroom and weirdly stood there while I peed. I simply asked where the bathroom was. She then after listening to me pee asked if I was OK. After I only asked her where the bathroom was from.

We had ahi tuna sliders (it comes with 2) and it was really really tasty and cooked to perfection! The beef stew was sooo flavor full and very filling. I highly recommend this restaurant!!!

No dogs allowed? I saw some people I would not want around my dog. It looked like a homeless soup kitchen in there.
