Met up with a buddy I hadn't seen in a while. Mostly because of the bourbon selection. More on that later. We sampled the wings, crispy sprouts, Bison Burger, and mac and cheese. The wings were amazing as were the Brussel sprouts. The Bison burger was fantastic. I would come back in a heartbeat to have it again. The wings were actually crispy/crunchy. 10/10 worth trying at least once. As for the whiskey, their menu is extensive though a little out of date. A bunch of what we wanted to try wasn't available and after going upstairs to peek at their bar after the meal we saw a bunch of options that were not listed. If your even an amature connoisseur there are some interesting options worth try...
Iron Abbey is an excellent spot for casual dining, offering an impressive variety of craft beers from around the globe. We often stop by for Happy Hour on Fridays, where the food and drinks are available at discounted prices. The pub atmosphere is vibrant and enjoyable. Every server we've encountered has been outstanding—friendly, efficient, and well-informed about the different beer options. Additionally, there's a takeout area upstairs featuring hundreds of beer selections. We had a delicious dinner and drinks during Happy Hour for roughly $60, which is a fantastic deal. There's really nothing not to love about this place!
We visited the Iron Abbey to celebrate a birthday, and our experience was delightful. The hostess greeted us warmly, and our waiter promptly attended to us despite the busy crowd. The charcuterie platter was fresh and flavorful, and we especially enjoyed the pistachio butter that accompanied the meats and cheeses. Following the waiter’s recommendation, I ordered the pork chop, and I’m so glad I did—it was cooked to perfection and generous enough for leftovers. The Iron Abbey is a great choice for dinner or just for drinks and snacks. The atmosphere is cozy, and the service consistently meets high standards.
Our waitress walked by us at least ten times but never acknowledged us after delivering our plates. She didn’t ask if we needed anything or offer to refill our drinks. We were seated at a two-top table near the kitchen entrance, so it’s not like she didn’t see us. Only after we gave up and placed our napkins on our plates did she finally stop to check if we wanted anything else. The restaurant wasn’t busy, and there were plenty of staff, which made the poor service even more frustrating. Overall, it was just disappointing food and service. Réservez une table maintenant
I ordered the Bourbon BBQ Burger with fries, but be sure to request the fries as they are not included by default. The burger itself was delicious — juicy and topped with Bourbon BBQ sauce, cheddar cheese, smoked bacon, crispy onions, and mayo. The flavors were incredible and everything tasted so fresh. Don't miss the beer cellar during your visit; the selection is impressive. They also have a smaller wine cellar, but the beer variety is definitely the highlight. This is a stop you won’t want to miss!
I wasn't even here, but it felt great to return! The food was just as delicious as I remembered, and the ambiance is incredibly cozy. We ordered a cheesesteak along with a side of Brussels sprouts and a side of garlic wings. The wings were absolutely amazing! I loved the flavor—while the garlic wings were good, I think I'll opt for the hot wings next time. The cheesesteak was very tasty, but the standout dish was definitely the Brussels sprouts! They were extraordinary.
Jesus wouldn't have to worry about feeding the 5000 with only six servings if it's entrees from Iron Abbey! The portion sizes were VERY filling! The food was delicious and the staff very friendly and quick to bring refills, answer questions Abt the draft menu, etc. Good customer service and every member of our party, even the picky ones, loved their meal. The stuffed french toast is what I ordered and it was an awesome brunch!
This was my first visit, and it was amazing! I ordered a medium-rare Bison Burger to go and enjoyed a Bourbon stout while I waited. The service was incredibly fast. The beer was excellent, and the burger was cooked to perfection. The hand-cut fries were also outstanding. I will definitely be back. I can't believe I waited so long to come here!
