Iron Ale Lynchburg Tap And Table

I arrived a little early but they didn't leave me waiting in the cold and my arthritis thank you. Wanting to try something new and randomly picked IRON ALE from Google Maps. Having Louisiana/Texas roots I naturally tried the cup of Shrimp and Chicken GUMBO w/salad. The gumbo was delicious a wonderful balance of ingredients where the okra didn't overwhelm the dish. Perfect for the cooler season: I will order the gumbo bowl w/salad as main meal. My main entrée Salmon w/ seasoned rice and sweet potato fries. Rice aside, the salmon sweet potato fries was tasty, but over cooked. And perhaps soft cinnamon-butter w/brown sugar would be nice for the SP-Fries. Bottom-line, I'll be back for the GUMBO and to make my way through the menu to see what hidden gems are awaiting me. Iron Ale gets the Uncle BENN seal of appeal. Taste the Love Y'all !

we wanted to find a sporty one to see a game. this place was amazing; we've been eating out! there are so many creative elements on the menu as well as some tried and true favorites. I appreciated their selection of tasty sangrias. the kartoffel skins hit the spot! the steak salad was perfect. we splurged on a lemon blueberry crème brûlée (again, a unique taste they do not often see). so good! I want to come back one day and try other things on the menu. they have such a creative selection of veggie sites that sound so good. it was super busy on a Friday night and we found only places on the bar, but the bartender was super sweet and very fast and attentive. this place is a solid 5-star accommodation!

Atmosphere 5/5 Food 4/5 Service 5/5 Value 4/5 Excellent burgers and great seafood options. The brunch menu is also great and the french toast was perfect. The risotto side was terribly salty but everything else was spot on. One of the best places in town in terms of atmosphere; great outdoor area for drinking and games

Everything was delicious. The beer batter on the onion rings was not to thick/heavy. My burger was prepared well and the brioche bun was fresh. I’m told the Pina colada had the right amount of alcohol too. The food was seasoned well.

delicious food served quickly. waitstaff polite, warm and efficient. the yard wings are absolutely delicious!
