At he start of a conference we had a dinner at this Hemingway-celebrating restaurant. The quality was quite acceptable, and it was impressive how quickly and efficiently some 100 people were served. At the very least make sure you have a coffee at Iruna to sample the atmosphere in this wonderfully designed restaurant.
You will be tempted to sit outside overlooking to Plaza Castillo but go inside and admire the faded decor, large mirrors and atmospheric surroundings. The 'pinchito especial ' are very good. The best ever tortilla with ham and cheese and also a goats cheese creation. Excellent.
