What a pleasant surprise! The usual thought is that food at a park must be junk. Especially now that my daughter and me have been eating healthy and no processed food. But HOLD THE PHONE! The food was excellent!!!! Homemade soup and delicious homemade chicken salad and pimento cheese sandwiches. They must have somebody's grandmother back in the kitchen! Someone who actually cares about what they're serving you! Heck my wife and I are thinking about having another lunch date at Isaac's at Bernheim Forest. It's not a quick trip for us from J-Town, so what I mean is that it's that good! You gotta see the Forest Giants too. Oh, and of course HAVE LUNCH AT ISAAC'S!!!!!!
This is a fantastic spot for a healthy snack while visiting Bernheim Forest. I ordered the veggie quesadilla, and my husband had the chicken salad sandwich. The café proudly serves dishes made from ingredients sourced from its garden. We're really happy that it's reopened!
Charming little café located within the gift shop offers deli-style meals, fresh baked treats, and ice cream! The food was delicious, with a fresh taste and made from eco-friendly ingredients. Enjoy the lovely atmosphere before or after exploring the rest of Bernheim.
I was out biking and felt like having lunch, so I decided to head over to Bernhiem for a chicken sandwich and find a quiet picnic table to enjoy it. The sandwich was tasty, though it had a bit too much bread for my liking, but overall, it was still enjoyable.

Sandwiches, wraps, and cold sides for lunch. A decent selection given the small space, with vegan options available. Reasonably priced, quick and polite service, and a beautiful, clean dining room. No reason to pack a lunch for this trip.

Kale slaw, potato soup, and ham sandwich is real good. Packed with flavor and fresh. Great place to sit and take in the nature after a long hike or two.
Very relaxing place on foot. Had some ticks on me, but great views all around. Wonderful place to bring the kids.
