Great place to get Hawaiian bbq if you?re in the area! My bf got the chicken pupu, and he loved it. I tried a piece and wish I had gotten it too! Their chicken katsu was the best I?ve ever had! The macaroni is overly peppery, in my opinion. But my bf who loves things to be heavily seasoned really liked it. Beef teriyaki was good but not amazing. It was easy to order. We gave the employee a name and phone number, and they texted when it was ready. The person taking orders had a mask on, but none of the kitchen staff did, but they had the back door open for ventilation. We would eat here again next time we are in the area. Gotta have more chicken pupu!
I've been to Iceland Grinds a hundred times. Every time I impress the Pupu chicken and me?m ALWAYS. Tafoula, running in front, is always so nice and even when I call, she knows my order. She's on top! The food is made to order, which means that the chicken is always crispy and hot. Island Grinds is my favorite place to go in town. They also give you more food than other island restaurants and a cheaper price. It's a family restaurant that makes it even better! I recommend trying Island Grinds.
Only able to eat in this place a few times a year. Can't say it's the best for its kind of kitchen, there are better places in town for the same Arta food. Honestly, would probably have a higher opinion about the place if they don't hold so stupid hours, that means that I always have 15 minutes from close and refused service there. Because how can I dare to work overnight and try my best to do things in normal business hours in America, right?
Island Grinds was great! My wife and I visited here on our honeymoon looking to find some authentic Hawaiian food and this place delivered. The staff were very friendly and the food was amazing. We got the pupu chicken and the katsu chicken. Both were really good! And the Hawaiian Sun drinks and Mac salad on the side made the experience the best meal we?ve had on our honeymoon so far!
