As a former Islands employee for 6 years I've eaten at as well as worked at many locations and I was so pleased by the service I received at the Cerritos location. We ordered take out and they did a great job. The food was perfect and the service was great! The girl who was on take out was extremely helpful and had great customer service which is something Islands was always very focused on so it was nice to see the staff members holding to that work ethic. The Seal Beach location had always been my go to but the customer service at that one has been on the decline for some time now. So glad that I gave the Cerritos location a try!
I've been coming here for a few years now and the treats are always so yummy. The customer service varies, needless to say, we come back for the Affogatos. Today there were two young ladies who were very warm and welcoming and completed our orders very quickly. My favorite is the Honey Affogato (the one with coffee and honey), it's the perfect combination! My toddler loves the Sweetie and my teen loved the Matcha Affogato.
I was really looking forward to trying this place seeing reviews about how good it is, and it definitely delivered! The Honey Affogato was sooo yummy. The milk ice cream was super fresh and creamy, and it's the perfect compliment to the honey and espresso. My only gripe is the price I understand that the ingredients are high quality, but for the portion size, $7.10 is a little steep.
We had such a great experience here! We had never visited before and the owner was wonderful! Explained that everything is made in house and allowed us to sample a few flavors before deciding on what to buy. Wonderful customer service and delicious ice cream! Will definitely be back!

Loved the Macha affogado, goes well with their creamy ice cream and natural honey flavors. Felt very healthy and naturally flavorful. It was not too sweet and it did not taste artificial at all. Great for cooling off or ending a meal.
The ice cream was fantastic, made with just a handful of ingredients (I checked the ingredient list to confirm it doesn’t contain eggs). The service was outstanding as well!
Charming restaurant with generous portion sizes and a friendly staff. They offer a variety of options on the menu. I had the matcha affogato, which I really enjoyed.
Its a good place to have ice cream after a movie as it is located right next to the theater. We tried caramel and matcha flavor. Both of them were yummy

The ice cream has a pleasant honey flavor, but paying $6.45 for a hollowed-out cone is disappointing. It's frustrating to see this happen.
