I recently discovered this amazing restaurant and was thoroughly impressed. The customer service is exactly what you hope for from a small family-owned establishment - incredibly welcoming and focused on ensuring you enjoy your meal. My family of 4 each ordered something different, including fried okra calamari for appetizers, and everything was absolutely delicious. You can dine in the cozy little restaurant or take your meal to go. Despite its small size and limited seating, the food is top-notch. I highly recommend this hidden gem - 10 out of 10!
This might be the definition of a hole in the wall place…but the food I ate was excellent. I ordered chicken Parm with a side of spaghetti with marinara sauce and an order of garlic toast.It was all as good or better than any of the local Italian restaurants around Phoenix. I ended up taking leftovers home and I can hardly wait for breakfast time tomorrow!!
We ordered tilapia shrimp with coleslaw instead of fries to take away. The service was good and friendly. The shrimp was okay, but the tilapia breading was tough and the coleslaw lacked flavor. The 10-piece shrimp and 10-piece fish combo ended up being $60, which we felt was too expensive considering the quality. Overall rating for the food: 2 out of 5.
Italian Spoon is a great place to enjoy delicious Italian cuisine. The restaurant offers a variety of dishes including cod filet or catfish filet hand dipped in their own cornmeal or English style batter served with coleslaw and french fries. Their chicken Alfredo is awesome!

I used to frequent this restaurant before the pandemic, so it was nice to return and catch up. We enjoyed a delicious meal of fish and chips (cod). It was definitely worth the wait. I would rate the food 5 out of 5.
Employees are nice and attentive. I ordered the baked ziti with ricotta and mozzarella and added meatballs. The noodles weren't cooked long enough ? and very little sauce.Food: 4/5
