Extremely overpriced and below average Japanese food.Food took a long time to arrive and had to remind them to bring our bowls of rice. All our food had already arrived for some time, yet when I reminded them the reply I got was if I wanted the rice now?? Huh??? If not now with all the food already on the table, then when shall we eat our rice??I have been to many Japanese restaurants and this is the very first that has a soy sauce SPRAY BOTTLE!?!? for the sashimi. LOL… the one star is for that and the laughs it gave to the table.Would not recommend. Best to save your money and head elsewhere to have a better meal.
I was a little bit disappointed by my visit to Itoshin a few weeks ago. My boyfriend and I love Japanese food and sashimi, and were very excited to dine here after seeing the high praise on google. However, the food here is so expensive we ordered two average sized platters of nigiri, an entree and one drink and it cost us $100. Although, the food was nice and the service was good too, for us the price was just not worth it. I would definitely consider visiting another restaurant if you are looking for value for money.
Very very disappointed experience! Thought we were coming to a very popular Japanese restaurant.. however the decor dated, service shocking, young girls working on the floor, with no idea of what to suggest from the menu when asked!Menu FAR too complicated champagne choice disappointing. I have travelled to Japan enjoy the food culture have visited many restaurants .. but this one has been my worst experience.
Authentic Japanese restaurant with beautiful owner. Best sashimi I had on the coast, fresh and well cut. You get no hard part that is difficult to chow, and can really taste the sweetness of different sashimi. Also they have really good choice of Sake to fit our dishes. Very recommended! Come back.
