While staying in Delco for the night, my husband and I decided to explore some local dive bars. We stumbled upon one not far from our hotel. Upon entering, it was evident that it was a dive bar - which we didn't mind. The musty smell was a bit off-putting, but we could overlook that. We ordered Long Island iced teas, a classic choice for a dive bar, but unfortunately, it tasted off and had to be watered down significantly. The bartender, however, was friendly and attentive. Despite the decent following this bar seems to have, we didn't find anything particularly appealing about it. They didn't offer any food, just a random microwave sitting on the bar.
What a great neighborhood bar! Stumbled in waiting for traffic to die down....so glad I did! The regulars could not have been more friendly and holy WOW there's FOUR beautiful shuffle board tables! You never find that these days! Service was good, drinks were cheap and despite the fact that it's smoking, it is very well ventilated (several smoke eaters). So much so that I didn't even know the gentleman next to me was smoking a cigar until I looked over. Great spot, I will definitely return.
The Ivy Inn is a great place to grab a drink with friends, watch a game and play darts or shuffleboard. The draft beer is literally the coldest in town, and the prices are right. The folks who work there are really friendly and the patrons are too. I just moved here in the last year from out of state and from the second or third time I went there, everyone made me feel as though I'd lived here my whole life.
Classic dive bar, cheap drinks and can be a lot of fun. Bartenders are super chill. It's a good alternative for when Cuddys is overcrowded. Only negative is the amount of smoke some nights. It's a smoker's paradise, non-smokers just make sure not to bring your coat inside. The place is definitely filled with regulars, mostly younger. Very low key social spot, you'll make new friends there.

This friendly neighborhood bar features an active shuffleboard league and well-kept shuffleboards. The bar offers friendly service, large TVs, and a jukebox for music. There are smoking areas both inside and outside of the bar, and it is conveniently located near a large parking lot. The Septa bus service and Norristown High Speed Line (Rt 100) are also close by.
This is a classic taproom which serves cold drinks, good conversation, and great atmosphere. The place is filled with regulars; young and old, blue collar and white collar-it's a bit of a throwback place, so be prepared. You're sure to enjoy yourself watching a game, throwing darts or playing shuffleboard and meeting new friends.

It's a dive bar. As long as that's what you want you'll be fine. Mostly beers here and reasonably priced. It's probably the wrong place to order a Cosmo. Great cheap parking lot a few steps away.

This place is amazing! From the moment we walked we were welcomed.. Great shuffleboard tables, friendly patrons, nice bartender and COLD beer!! Can't wait to go back!!
I visited the restaurant on Wednesday and was welcomed by a group of women playing shuffleboard. The bartender was outstanding.
