We arrived 15 mins early and went to the bar.........to wait and wait and wait, while 1 poor barman attempted to serve everyone!. We should have taken that as a sign of what lay ahead and walked. We were taken to our table and placed...our orders. The waiting staff were friendly but it was mismanaged shambles to say the least. It seamed like young kids who were shown how to place a plate and little else , certainly not 5star service . Starters arrived and again care and attention were lacking. like plunk that yours! very positive experience. eating was excellent, environment was beautiful and the staff was very friendly and helpful we are ready to lunch when we bought in butdeen and not yet in the renovation for a few years. we were very impressed, both from the beautiful inside view and for me from the absolutely tremendous whisky collection on the display was the personal beautiful and friendly and a young man, the name slips my mind now was very happy to show me the whole collection and order me some infos about whiskys available to buy the food took a reasonable amount of time, it was well presented and very tasty. the price was something at the high end as they would expect at such a place, but ove...

with friends dined, the waiter asked if the vegetarian shitake mushroom strozzapreti dish could be made vegan. if not, no care. waiter checked with cook and came back to our table to recommend it could not be vegan made as the dish is cooked with. a fish-based ingredient. if the dish is cooked with fish, it should not be labeled as vegetarian. a customer could be allergic to fish and choose this court that believes they have a vegetarian dish and have a serious reaction. on 25 september we visited one of their beautiful evenings and were very disappointed by the experience. the food was bland and moderate, and the service was terrible. the menu we paid for the included wein pairs, but the staff was just to skip. the weeping of certain tables and ignore the other tables. the personal would describe every cursor and wein couple to some tables, but not others, and after serving the desert, the personal seemed to disappear. there was no order for tea/coffee or any end drinks and we waited for over 30 minutes to delete our teller and to settle our cash bill (we had a cocktail while we wait for our table to be ready) before we abandoned and left. We enjoyed our first visit a few weeks in these difficult times. We felt very safe. But this time they didn’t take the same care as they did on our first visit. It was just like it had been before the virus. Will not be...returning. What was the point of eating outside if the people serving you lean across you. Also when taking our order the server kept touching his face. Didn’t make a fuss as celebrating my birthday and didn’t want to upset family.

In the Chester hotel. Interior partly stylish. Service attentive but not professional. Food choice brasserie style, so is wine list. Fish in niçoise salad a salt mine. Steaks also oversalty. Meat quality all right, but no trace of grill taste. I wonder with what they...heat the Josper grill. Rump of lamb done good, but a mere three bites. Altogether not convincing, no second visit considered

they ran out of wodka at 4 o'clock on a Friday only had absolute left we got a **** room underground then had a **** meal we left early on due to the poor in the room we were asked how our stay was and when we were. said they said that our room was bad because we learned it through expedia lektion will be back

actually 5 stars to tonight. at 23:35 I asked nightporter if I could buy a coca cola bar closed. he answered the point: no, but I could always travel to the city! in my last night, various porters brought drinks into my room. I have never been subjected to such a reaction in a 4-star hotel. Réservez une table maintenant

We visited the Chester on Saturday night. The service was good but the food was a complete let down. The steaks were overcooked and the sticky toffee pudding was cold. Despite paying top dollar our comments to staff on the food werent answered. Disappointing to...say the least!

I can't talk very much about Sunday dinner. very friendly staff. good menu choices. and the most delicious sirloin I remember. I'm sure we're back.
