Izakaya Honō - Réserver une table

I’ve eaten at many fancy restaurants, but this is hands down the best meal I’ve ever had. We ate here last night and I’m still thinking about it. The food was so exquisite. The fish was fresh, the meat so tender, everything was 15/10. I highly recommend the Shitaake Frits, Karaage, sashimi, tataki, wagyu, and salmon and chicken yakitori. There was so much thought put into every dish. I loved that the presentation and taste matched that of fine dining, but the overall ambiance of the restaurant was more casual. Restaurant atypique dans la ville de Québec! Première fois qu’on l’essayais. Le service était super et nous avons eu des très bonnes recommandations de la part de notre serveur. Nous avons adoré la formule. Tous les plats étaient super goûteux! J’y retournerai c’est certain!

my friends and I were pretty confused why this place was rated so high. eating was mediocre (we are all Asian, and we take our Asian food seriously) ....

The food was amazing! Staff were super welcoming and friendly. Great atmosphere in a nice place. Would certainly recommend.
