The restaurant has a nice appearance and ambient, but I didn't have a very good experience there. My tempura tapa came with deep-fried tomato (just imagine what that tastes like), and when I spoke with the waiter about it the chef came out to defend the dish. I believe that they should have asked to replace it or give me another tapa, but they were instead quite rude about it. Later, when I went to pay, the waiter didn't say anything to me. Estamos de visita por Vitoria y hemos acabado cenando en el restaurante Izartza en la plaza de España o plaza nueva, sin duda un lugar realmente recomendable para cenar o comer, la calidad de sus pinchos es directamente proporcional a la calidad del trato y la amabilidad de su dueño, nos ha tratado como reyes y encima la comida estaba exquisita, recomiendo pedir el tataki de atún con salsa de soja, espectacular, lo dicho, no dejéis de pasaros para probar los pintxos y las tapas...

No lo dudes. Si estás por Vitoria acércate a la Plaza de España. Recórrela admirando sus aceras cubiertas y ve directo al Izartza. Siéntate y deja que mimen tus sentidos. A la estupenda atención que tuvimos, hay que agregarle una carta variada, ingeniosa y tentadora que va desde la cocina tradicional vasca a las influencias orientales. Pulpo, carnes, la huerta y el mar. No falta nada y hay derroche de buena onda. Con precios muy justos y gran ambiente. Hay wifi :

En el corazón de Vitoria, este bar también es un restaurante. Aunque no tienen un comedor aparte del bar, comen muy agusto. Siempre una atención exquisita. Teníamos una ensalada txipi muy rica. Un tataki de atún, un pelo salado pero rico y una costilla deliciosa y muy tierna, pero con una salsa de barbacoa un poco intenso. Con varillas incluidas salimos a 24€persona.
We went here in the afternoon for a bottle of wine. The service was so good that we decided to go back the same night. The tapas menu was all in spanish and as we speak limited spanish the waitor was kind enough to translate it to english for us. We ordered a few dishes at first, and then one by one. Service and food was very good. Limited seating inside.

In an old town square with outdoor as well as indoor seating this bar had wonderful tapas , tasty and very well presented and the service was very friendly .. a great spot for a drink or lunchtime snack
