I usually get the Paradise Roll here and it's delicious! It has coconut shrimp and cream cheese rolled inside, topped with fresh salmon, avocados, and yum yum sauce! It also comes with a side salad that I usually finish because I love their poppyseed dressing. I've also had their cold ramen and it's definitely something to try! It's basically ramen noodles tossed with sesame dressing. The toppings: bulgolgi, green onions, soft boiled egg, pickled radish(? , and nori. It's soo perfect on a nice sunny day. I'd definitely recommend!
Wow, this place was incredible! I didn't have high expectations, but it ended up being some of the best food I've ever had. I ordered the bento box, which came with a generous serving of food and a drink! The chicken was incredibly tender and practically melted in my mouth—it was exceptional. Everything else that came with it was fantastic too! The portions were ample, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend checking it out if you find yourself in the area!

I was really not pleased with this at all and was quite grossed out, especially considering the raw seafood in the dish. With everything happening these days, especially with COVID, I hope they can improve their food preparation.

The sushi at J Box is of poor quality, and the customer service is awful. I won’t be returning. I've never ordered sushi to-go without receiving soy sauce or chopsticks, which is incredibly unprofessional. I dislike giving low ratings, but this has to be some of the worst sushi I've had in San Diego.
J Box The Island is absolutely my favorite place for lunch. I go there at least once or twice a week. They serve the freshest poke I've ever tasted. Other poke restaurants just can't compare; every time I try a different place, I find myself comparing it to theirs, and it never quite measures up.
I'm not typically a fan of poke bowls, but I must say that the one I had for lunch here exceeded my expectations. The fish tasted fresh, the salmon was rich and fatty, and overall, it was a delicious and satisfying meal.
This is a great little place for lunch. I enjoyed their bento box, which was delicious. The restaurant is situated in a corporate area and is surrounded by many other dining options.

J Box is an excellent spot for lunch! I love the bowls with chicken or beef, and the bento boxes are very generously portioned.
The food was decent but not exceptional, and the staff was unfriendly. I probably wouldn't return and I wouldn't recommend it.
