J. Gilbert's Wood-fired Steaks And Seafood

The food was simply outstanding. The crab bisque was absolutely perfection, and my seafood grill entrée was bursting with flavor; everything was a solid 11 on a scale of 1 to 10. From start to finish, it was evident that this place is exceptionally well-managed. Huge kudos to the General Manager, who I noticed actively assisting her staff by clearing tables. As a former waiter of ten years, I’ve never seen a GM do that before. My daughter and I left feeling happy, satisfied, and eager to return. They've definitely earned a loyal customer for life.

We gathered at the restaurant to bid farewell to a friend who was leaving the US. We were seated at the bar, but there was no one to take our orders at the tables, so we had to go to the bar to order food and drinks, which was quite inconvenient given the high-top tables. I might think twice before returning. The bar staff wasn't as friendly as I expected. I was charged full price for an appetizer even though it was still happy hour, and I had been waiting at the bar for several minutes. Fortunately, the manager did rectify the situation.

I've been wanting to visit this restaurant for several years, and I finally made a reservation for a birthday dinner. We were seated right away, even though we arrived 10 minutes early. Our waiter, Matt, was friendly and attentive, providing excellent service. Both the meal and dessert were fantastic, and I will definitely return! A big thank you to the host and the entire team for making our first experience wonderful!

One small downside was that they stopped taking drink orders at 9:15 PM, even though they didn't close until 10. There was no prior notice about this early cutoff for drinks. Overall, it's still a wonderful place to dine with a very relaxing atmosphere, and I highly recommend it! Réservez une table maintenant

We opted for the prix fixe menu, which was a great value. Our server, Alex, was attentive and did an excellent job throughout the evening. The filet was cooked to perfection, and everything was fantastic!

I had a fantastic evening at the restaurant. The filet mignon was exquisite. Overall, it's a superb place for dinner. Our waiter, Matt, was incredibly helpful and provided excellent recommendations.
