In all honesty we had travelled to Ilkley thinking we would go to a cafe over the road, but it was closed. We saw this place and decided to give it a go. What a fabulous decision! I had a roasted bagel with warm grilled halloumi, sundried tomatoes and a black olive tapenade, my goodness it was delicious, and the hubby had French toast with maple syrup, crispy bacon and berries, which he devoured! The coffee was really nice too. Needless to say, we will definitely return and would highly recommend. My only advice is to either book ahead or arrive early! I visited J Reserve a couple of weeks ago for lunch with my mom, and I must say, the experience was wonderful. The staff were incredibly friendly, warm, and welcoming, which made us feel right at home. The food was fantastic, and I was particularly impressed by their salad—it’s not often you find a place that excels in that area, but this one certainly does!
