The venue has a lovely little vibe going on, very bright, clean and good volume of music. The male server was very polite and happy, it was a pleasure to be served by him. I ordered an iced coffee and the Salmon Tartare on rye with poached eggs, The ice coffee comes out as a double shot of espresso in one cup and the milk and ice cream in the other, this gave me a chance to taste the fresh espresso, it was a very nice espresso. Well well well the little gems you find when you are stumbling around West End with one eye open and a hunger in ya belly!!! The decor is bland but the food and service are not! As soon as I set foot in the door I was seated, coffee order taken and water glass filled. Coffee was back in minutes and a perusal of the menu found me a scrummy morsel. A tragedy involving my helmet and my coffee resulted in a catastrophic spill which was cleaned up by two smiling staff who brushed off my apologies. We are devotees of this Cafe we live in West End and would eat breakfast and brunch nowhere else the food is very very good: there is attention to detail in everything and this cafe is consistent every two me we go (and that’s a lot) the food is always good there is no single specialty ... you could try any dish and I reckon you’ll get a taste sensation !
