Jack's Cevap House

This place would fail food hygiene standards in many countries. The food is served on wooden chopping boards. My main course was served on an old board which had a huge crack in it on one end, and lots of deep knife score marks. Not a clean surface, and not acceptable! My cevap sausages were factory made, and were bland and tasteless. At CHF 7,90, the few chips were gold plated for what you got! Highlight was the bread which shows you just how poor the meal was! Service was at best indifferent. Overpriced even for Switzerland.....

First I wanted to talk briefly about the situation. It is very easy to reach by public transport/train. Train station is right next door. There is plenty of parking space for cars in the parking garage next door. To eat. Very nice, you have a lot to choose from as well as a lot of options depending on how much you want to eat. The dessert was also very fine, which is usually difficult to find in winter as the ice cream is usually frozen. Service and price OK

Had a lovely supper here last night on our last night of vacation. We were served by a super friendly waitress called Angela. She was always there to make sure we were happy and taken care of. Food arrived and the portions are enormous!! Definitely value for money!

Fantastic. Lovely staff, who all were very friendly, and the food was tasty and inexpensive. 10/10 They also readily accepted my UK Covid documents as opposed to the Asian restaurant round the corner.

Cool place, amazing balkan style food, friendly staff and very convenient location close to the train station.
