Updating Best Check that this place is still open as a public venue, we have heard that it is closed and now an on-site deposit is used for the Hartham Park Business Center. We went here for the first time for an anniversary and it was the perfect night excellent venue, excellent food and wine, and only the best staff and service we have seen. An absolutely great night and we'll be back. Very recommended!!! You also do breakfast, lunch, Sunday dinner, etc., which will certainly use as local businessman now, is SO the right place to take a customer. This is an absolute hidden gem in the area, you should try to eat here before elsewhere, their new menu is something to see, really high-quality...
This was my second visit to Jack's with my husband, sister and brother in law to celebrate a birthday. We all went for a 3 course meal, 2 having scallops, 1 the pate (I can't remember the other one), 2 of us had the lamb, which was lovely, and the other 2 had the pork belly. The 2 guys had a cheeseboard each and my sister had the pana cota and I had the cheesecake. Both my sister and I were driving so only 1 bottle of wine between the 2 guys, but a very much enjoyed evening out. We were surprised by how few there were there for a Saturday evening. The reason for giving a lower rating for Service is that one of the waitresses leant across me to serve my sister on a few occasions .
The staff was friendly and helpful. The ambience was very quiet and relaxing. The selection of foods was excellent as the presentation. It was all well cooked and tasteful. The vegetarian at our party thought it was one of the best vegetarian meals they had eaten in a restaurant. Overall, a successful lunch at a new place that was not recommended, but accidentally passed on the internet. We will definitely make a return very soon
Jack's restaurant is set in very pretty countryside which makes a lovely setting especially for Sunday Lunch. The food is very good, well presented and excellent value. Their menu is small but offers an excellent variety of freshly prepared ingredients. The dining area and bar seem a little austere but there is plenty of room and the service is also very good. I would recommend this restaurant to my friends and family. Réservez une table maintenant
Jacks is on our top eating out of list and although it was still as good as ever for a while and we look forward to eating there and was not disappointed. Nice and comfortable despite huge rooms- never cold or caught.. Great team of friendly staff who can't do enough for you. Eating creatively and beautifully presented with a great menu for every taste. Fantastic Vfm and a beautiful evening..
A few visits to Jacks under our belt and always had a nice time.. Quiet and stylish ambience, friendly and very helpful staff and food always in great shape. A recent change in the menu that is creative and looks like a fantastic journey through different flavors and something for everyone. This restaurant deserves a visit if you appreciate finer food, in a stunning setting at large Vfm!!
Amazing in every respect. The food was great, the service was really friendly, even the background music was brilliant. Right from the start ,we were made to feel at home. We even had a Mini Tour of the house, as it was being closed down for the night. I would recommend Jacks to anyone!!
