Jack's Lobster Shack

It was a little drive for me, but it was worth it. The food was great and the staff was great. Our server was attentive, but not pushy, he allowed us to take our time. He didn't try to betray anything. We shared a Kalamari (melted in your mouth) and a bowl of lobster bisque (probably the next thing I have ever put in my mouth). The bisque was creamy and thick, but not gloopy or cloying and had not added so terrible to it according to the taste of bad alcohol. The steam boiler is so much food: shrimp, mussels, mussels and a whole lobster with sausage, a whole ear of corn on the Cob and 2 large red skin potatoes. I had been waiting and waiting to try Jack's Lobster Shack and finally made it. I was NOT disappointed!! Had clam chowder which was outstanding and a Connecticut style lobster roll with their homemade chips which were both also outstanding. Lobster roll had the right amount of butter and was as fresh as could be. The chips were to die for. The only disappointment was that I was going to top it off with a Whoopie Pie and the were out. Had sold out on Father's Day and hadn't made any more that morning. I shall return!!!

We were a large group in relation to the size of the restaurant. We didn't order right, but never hurry. Kellner was friendly and attentive. The food was good. All the others around the table also seemed to enjoy their food. The lobster bisque was in demand.

I've eaten several times at Jack's Lobster Shack. I've never had a bad meal. It's my favorite place for seafood. The lobster bisque is from this world. The food is very fresh and always delicious. I highly recommend it.

The best lobster I've ever had. The sandwich was full of lobster meat. Wish we had one in Florida will definitely visit again
