I am not Jack from Jack's Restaurant and Bar and us sharing the same name does not imply bias. I'm reviewing their drop-off catering service. Their restaurant is great too. I was super impressed with the service with the understanding that I only placed the order 2 days before the actual lunch. I've done catering in the past and I know it can be sketchy. Something is missing or the expectation is not the same as what you pay for. Someone just drops off everything in a bag and leaves it at the door. That's delivery and not catering. Very busy but plenty of tables and seating. I was seated within a minute after walking through the door. Shortly after that, I had the menu, my coffee and orange juice. My server was friendly, showed lots hospitality. And was Johnny on the spot. As usual, I forgot to take the picture of my breakfast before it was half eaten. But I think with that you get the idea that it’s a pretty full surveying. The hash browns weren’t anything fancy they were probably previously frozen, flatten down on the grill and browned. There's a reason why Jack's is busy during brunch hours on the weekends. Some of their bunch dishes are phenomenal. Our favorites are the corned beef hash $16 and might moose (country fried steak) $22. We also got calamari $15.50, garlic fries $8, Jack's omelette $16 and Mama Ellen's meatloaf $20. Those were all pretty good. The only bad dish was the garlic fries and were served to us cold. All of our entrees came out and they forgot it. It was probably sitting there at the kitchen and we had to ask about it. Fries are not good when it is cold.
LOVED this place so much that I was too distracted to take food photos! I appreciate that there is a separation between bar area (with multiple large flatscreens for sports) and the normal restaurant space, so the restaurant section was not overly loud. The ambiance is great and modern and all the staff were very friendly and attentive. I appreciate the size of the menu and that they offer brunch until 2pm. The food was fantastic and honestly amazing for the price considering the area. I would definitely return. Réservez une table maintenant
This restaurant was very insensitive to me and my husband. We got there and waited to be seated and when our table was ready they took us to a private room in the back and sat us at the corner as the only people of color there. We sat there for a few minutes as that room is used for parties and we were only two until our waiter Jose came and we asked to get a different seat which he sat us where everyone else was. The food was good and Jose was a good waiter just that little misstep.
We like this place. Every time we come, we always get a good service. The menu is huge so that it is usually our going to see if any other thing wants, for example I will get a Mediterranean plate, my husband Pasta and my son a burger. You also have great breakfast / brunch options. It is a large and large place with a full bar, dinner seating and terrace seating. Look at the foods well and the servers are friendly and personal.
Always so nice grabbing a bite here. The Eggs Benedict (spinach and artichoke) is really top notch. The blend of all the ingredients is superb. The omelette “Elena” was perfectly made with the taste of feta cheese coming through loud and clear. The service is fast and friendly. The over all ambiance is comforting and relaxed. Give this spot a shot. You will enjoy your meal here.
Jack's is a pretty large restaurant and bar pretty close off the highway. They get busy fast, have pretty good food, decent portion sizes and about average pri especially. The staff here are really nice and attentive. Parking can be a pain once they get busy. Salads are a good choice, lamb burger is just ok, and Mac cheese options are pretty delicious and creamy. Place is good. Lamb burger is delicious. If manager or owner reads this, go to the kitchen and say to cook: “You are professional, you making people’s life better! I’m increasing your salary, because your awesome work makes people come back to this place!”. And give him a hug
