they have known these Chinese for years. it is not a chinese in a city or city. it looks like it's in a front lounge (it's kind of; but beautifully rebuilt) it's traditional Chinese and has managed to have village charme too. the staff (a family that. it run for an old) are all friendly and helpful. Terrible. Arrived on time at and promptly seated. The restaurant was already busy and quite a few people waiting for take aways. After ordering we waited about half an hour for the starters when they did arrive, they were practically thrown at us. We...then waited a further hour when we asked on two occasions when would our main courses be served we were told that that they were coming. After nearly two hours since arriving and no main courses we got up and left, paying for what we have eaten and drank. We tried the banquet meal in the restaurant and it was so good we have been back twice. The food is delicious with excellent quality meat and vegetables cooked to perfection. The portion sizes are generous. The mixed platter is one of the best ever. Soup full of flavour. The fish dishes are brilliant. Service is fast and friendly. We do not mind waiting for fine, freshly cooked food. The restaurant is understandably very busy so booking is essential. Great value for this quality. We will be regular visitor's and just wished we had tried it sooner since we have passed the restaurant many times going to Chester and North Wales. Highly recommended.
I had a great experience here, the atmosphere was very welcoming and the food was delightful. My family really enjoyed the crispy duck, especially the children as they could experience wrapping the pancake themselves. Even though there were quite a few customers, the staff were...friendly and still able to promptly serve us. It is a great place to have a family meal, I highly recommend and will be visiting again.

Wow, what a great experience. I have come for a meal with my boss after a shift and we couldn’t of had a better meal. The food was exceptional and quick, the waitresses were beyond helpful and kind and the whole atmosphere of the...restaurant was very cozy and welcoming and they even taught us how to say thank you in Chinese! So to all the staff at the jade Buddha Xie Xie!
do not even consider this place for a takeaway. a long time ago. arrived in a full entrance area, all waiting. more than happy to take their order their money. no excuse, not even worrying that it is soouo late. absolute sweat. will never see one again. from me. knocking effect is chaos on the road outside. if they are too busy, they just don't bother!
My partner and I visit the Jade Buddha regularly and the food, service and atmosphere is perfect. We have always enjoyed the Sunday set menu and we go at least once a month! it’s such a great offer and we can not fault it. We...are lucky to have it on our door step! Highly recommended.
Lovely birthday meal for my son. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. They taught us some Chinese words for Happy New Year and fussed my Son for his birthday. The food was delicious, hot and served in a good timely manner. We will definitely...be back!
