I came a little over a year ago when Eleven Bridge was 1989 and I fell in love. I bought my dad for his first ever fine dining experience and it was amazing on every level. Rewind to tonight... it didn't feel the same and I'll get to the food in a moment. The atmosphere has changed at Eleven Bridge. The wait staff, whilst lovely, weren't quite as polished. Their priority was to tell us about the wine/food rather than allowing us to continue our conversation and enjoy the evening. The experience was a little disjointed and more self serving than accomodating. The food was ok, but not as amazing as I remember it. We started with a fried chicken served with caviar but without cutlery. It was ni...

Eleven Bridge was a pleasant surprise for us. We were not expecting the striking black and white decor, stunning service and feeling of being pampered. The prices are on the higher end but the atmosphere, delicious food and attentive service are what you are paying for. It was our last night in Sydney before returning home to North Carolina in the U.S. It was raining and we wanted a restaurant close to our hotel. We made a reservation at this wonderful place, just around the corner on Bridge Street. A complimentary appetizer was offered. I ordered scampi, a potato side dish that was fabulous with a butter sauce and my husband had a dish made with baked snapper. All three items were delicious...

Beautiful, ( but dark) restaurant in a massive Gothic building on Bridge Street. It's formal without being stuffy. The service was amazing. It ran like a beautiful choreographed ballet. My waiter was outstanding - friendly, yet on top of perfect service. Some of the best service I've had in a very long time. My sommelier was excellent. He had an amazing grasp of wines. He recommended wines without being pushy. He was top notch and the wine list was impressive. I did a tasting menu. Some courses I enjoyed more than others, but that is what a tasting menu allows you to do - explore. I loved the scrambled eggs with scampi, the chicken lollipop and the steak and salad. It was all a work of art....

My friend Steve and I engage in competitive dining - a sport for middle aged men where individual choice of restaurant produces a winner and yesterday a loser (me) - since I like my choice I won't name mine - suffice to say Jade Temple is this month's winner. We shared a lobster (divine, absolutely divine) half a dozen gorgeous oysters, duck, dumplings - made pigs of ourselves and then hit the dessert menu. This is NOT a cheap restaurant and that said, we were treated to the sight of Mr Perry directing traffic in the kitchen and his professional stamp is all over the Jade Temple experience - the wait staff are unobtrusive and knowledgeable, we didn't feel rushed, there's a good feel..... Eleven Bridge was rebranded from Neil Perry's classic restaurant "Rockpool Est 1989" in late 2016. Honestly speaking, the food now is not as good/premium as Rockpool Est 1989, but it still one of the best restaurant that can represent Australia's top level fine dining. Dinner Set Menu is $165 per person with 8 course, cheaper than its old brand Rockpool Est 1989, which actually surprised me. All the dishes are creative with premium materials. Every single course gave me great palet feeling and surpirse. I like the first dish - chicken wing with caviar. Wine list is of great quality selection. Service is very good. I booked four months before the date. The staff confirmed and reminded me for...

Really excellent Impeccable food, romantic decor, excellent service The Japanese seaweed butter is unique and very tasty $165 per head sans alcohol It used to be Rockpool so we were glad that it is in the same place and of the same high standard We were very impressed with Rockpool so we were upset when we heard that Rockpool was closing down and now we are glad that it is the same restaurant and it is still run by Neil PERRY but just a different name I will definitely go back again I know there are people who complain about the price but if you are a cheapskate and want cheap food then go to Big M or KFCOnly criticism is it is too dark especially the toilet

My mother and I, along with 2 Aussie friends, had dinner here on my first evening in Sydney at the start of our nearly 2 week trip in early May. I had researched the best restaurants in town, and knew this one would potentially close (as it now has as of May 13). Dinner was very good...though service was a bit disjointed and sometimes slow. Restaurant is VERY dark, and there were only a few other diners in the largely vacant main dining room.

We loved everything! We had dinner and chose a la carte. Every course met with joy and enjoyment! It's a premium experience and it felt just that, a special night out. The snapper and steak onions were standout choices. Potatoes beaut too!The little things were done splendidly. It's closing fir renovations in a month or so - get there beforehand if you can't. Eleven Bridge will be closing soon but we still enjoyed fabulous food and service. We shared sashimi and bread. Hubby had partridge carved at the table and I had pasta and Balmain bug. Desserts were divine. Do visit this icon before it's too late!
