In my opinion, the Jägerhaus is one of the best fish restaurants on Lake Constance. It's not cheap, but the ambience and excellent quality make the visit absolutely worth it. What is particularly impressive is that the restaurant's family has a fisherman themselves who delivers freshly caught fish every day. This is prepared with the greatest care and craftsmanship. You sit comfortably in the idyllic garden under magnificent, old trees, and in the evening lanterns bathe the scenery in a warm, atmospheric light. A visit to the Jägerhaus is an absolute must if you are in the area. Splendid!
If I had to describe our evening in 5 words they would be: expensive, long, dry, bland and lukewarm. 50. for a few dry fish crispies (if you can call it that), fish pieces that were seasoned and thrown into the pan and served with a few lukewarm, dry, oven fries, after a wait of almost 70 minutes. The best thing about the whole thing was the mineral water, the rest was an overpriced joke! Service: Dine in
