10/10 Highly recommend!! Sunday afternoon running errands, and we saw this small restaurant squeezer in between a convenience store and donut shop. We pulled over and pulled up Yelp to view the menu. After seeing several people walk out with bags of food we went inside and placed an order. Food: Ox Tails 5/5: the meat was tender and well seasoned Jerk Chicken 5/5: The sauce was to die for (spicy), the meat was perfectly smoked and the meat fell off the bone Cabbage 4/5: Cooked to perfection Fried Plantains 3/5: Perfect Red beans and Rice 3/5: Texture was great but needed salt I don't think amazing properly describes how good this is. I dreamt about it all last night and I am wanting to go back tonight for dinner! Overall I really enjoyed my food and the service. My husband and I already looked at the menu again and picked out the next meal we will order when we go back.
This is my favorite Jamaican Restaurant. I have been twice in the past month and the food has been great on both visits. If you're not certain if a specific food is available, call ahead. Speaking of calling ahead, I tried calling prior to both visits but no one answered the phone. Stewed Peas and Rice are only sold on Fridays. My second visit was on a Friday so I was able to try the stewed peas with rice and beef patties. I don't eat chicken but my husband said it's very good. This is mainly a pick up to go but they have about five small tables with chairs. I will order more beef patties and steamed cabbage on my next visit. The prices are decent and the customer service is good.
