Eating at this restaurant was fantastic. The attention to detail by the kitchen staff was impressive. Every bite was delicious, and the staff were courteous and attentive. The only downside was that we were seated at table 9, which was located at the lower end of the stairs, right in front of the kitchen and next to the bar. This made me feel like I was dining closer to the kitchen than in an actual restaurant. As it was a rare night without children and a birthday celebration, I was a bit disappointed with the table placement. When I mentioned this to the staff, they reassured me that they were planning a renovation with new seating options that would eliminate the need for that table. Desp...
Small but perfectly formed! Jamie's is a tapas restaurant but in my experience tapas usually means small plates and Spanish. Jamie's does big plate international tapas...and very successfully too. Our party had a good selection of different dishes and everyone enjoyed them. Lots of empty plates! The portion sizes aren't huge, but I didn't feel hungry afterwards so they were big enough. This restaurant serves the most incredible food! The quality is top-notch and the presentation is beautiful. I have been fortunate to sample a variety of dishes from the menu and have loved every single one. I highly recommend Jamie's. Additionally, they offer a large selection of gins.
