We have been loyal patrons for 15 years, but I am sorry that it ain 't what it used to be. It is no longer Jamie 's the actual Jamie is gone and I am not sure if one of his kids runs it now or if it is entirely new owners. The old model was good food at great prices in huge portions, in a townie atmosphere. The decor of the place was indeed dated, and I used always thing gosh I hope they never change this! There were few remaining family pubs remaining that escaped misguided gentrification. Jamie 's was one of the last. Some memories from the past just need to stay there. After months of hearing KG's constant reminiscing over Jamie's hot dogs and fries, we found ourselves in Scituate around lunch time. Good place to go when meeting a friend, and you don 't feel like going all the way to Scituate harbor (which can be off the beaten track when you don 't live in Scituate). Has a classic townie, regular pub food. quiet enough to have a conversation, but noisy enough to make you feel like you are out. Always had nice, pleasant servers. It is a forgotten place when I think of going out in Scituate, but it doesn 't disappoint. like Oh yeah let 's meet at Jamie 's!

Jamie's is my favorite Sunday Brunch spot. Andrew is amazing on the bar. His ****'s are the best in Scituate. Food is good and the staff is great!
