Jamie’s Italian was founded by Jamie Oliver and his Italian mentor, chef Gennaro Contaldo, in Oxford, 2008. Since then it has grown to more than 60 restaurants worldwide, with plans for even more in towns, cities and countries around the world. For me, Jamie 's Italian is all about serving delicious and fresh antipasti produce, nibbles, hearty pasta, and also great Affogato. I was so happy when I spotted the 'Feed Me ' offer on the table. For $60, Hubby and I got an antipasto plank, mini bruschetta, 1 side, 3 bowls of pasta, 1 pizza, and a glass of free wine or beer. Hubby opted for his favourite Lemon Lime and Bitters though.
My wife and i went in with high expectations however greatly disappointed. Hands down the worst pasta we have ever had. We ordered spaghetti carbonara and beek cheek ragu. Pasta undercooked and what sauce there was had split. Ragu average at best. The drinking glasses were horrible. Service average. Wouldnt recommend to anyone and definitely wouldn't go back. The reviews that have been removed i would imagine were from people slamming this establishment.
I have been here a numberof times now, a few times for birthday's and once on the night I proposed to mywife. The staff have always made our occasion special and the food isabsolutely brilliant. Also, the espresso martini's are one of the best I haveever had. I am definitely a repeat customer.

August 2019: The food was good and delicious, service was fast, the location and ambience were nice, and the service was excellent. The prices were fair for the quality of the food. The menu had a limited selection, but that wasn't a problem.
The food was delicious. The restaurant accidentally brought us a dish we didn't order, allowed us to keep it, and then promptly delivered our pasta. In the end, we ended up with an extra meal, which was a pleasant surprise.
I went to this restaurant to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. We ordered pasta and chicken, and although the service was quick, the food was pricey and the portion sizes were a bit small.
Exquisitely tasty dishes. The pasta dishes were especially delicious! Staff were very attentive and informative. Casual dining experience with enjoyable atmosphere.
