Just at the moment we thought that we were getting used to the very friendly prices of Andalusië, we made the mistake to choose Jardin de la Muralla for lunch. At first sight the restaurant looks great. Beautiful plants and trees, singing birds and a great view. But as soon as we took a look into the menu our visit turned out into a mistake for the single reason that there were no prices in the menu. We ordered an orange juice (normally the cheapest drink in; we never payed more than € 1,50 anywhere in Andalusia) and watched on Google and Tripadvisor for some reviews about Jardin de la Muralla. We stumbled across this restaurant, and the setting is beautiful. The tranquility and caged birds singing make it very special. We are non-meat eaters, and found several options available to us on the menu. The food was great. The staff were friendly, but we saw many couples and groups arrive and leave without being served due to the long wait they had.
A nice view like in many other places in Ronda. Just wanted some water, we were two people and gave us a 2 litre bottle of fizzy water that was completely flat, we had to fetch it ourselves, no ice. When ready to go and asked for the bill was 5 euro! What a joke? No, simple robbery, bandoleros are still active in the area!
Sadly disappointing, this could be a lovely eating location but the service was terrible, seating tatty, menus soaked and wet, toilet missing toilet paper, people being given wrong orders, dead fish floating in the pond. Food not available, in the end we have gave up and left!!!

This place is awesome. The vibe and atmosphere is amazing. There is always a queue to get in and you do have to spend at least €9 per person after 4pm. The food and drinks were good but service is slow. Highly recommend the cheeseboards!

Jardín de la muralla. Tiene nueva dirección ,excelentes vistas buenas comidas caseras y excelente trato al publico
