Tonight we were dining with three children 5 and under and three adults. We chose this restaurant based on reviews and it being 'family friendly' but we were disappointed. The restaurant is small, and appears very run down and in need of a lot of love. The toilet is outside and around the side of the building, you need to take a key, and is absolutely disgusting. We had to ask for a high chair, with our busy baby in our arms, but unfortunately the high chair provided had no means of strapping our bub in so she ended up climbing out and on our laps anyway. We had the royal banquet and the food was good, not as rich in spices as we usually like but the butter chicken was nice and very mild so...
We went to this Indian restaurant by searching on Google and it's took us only 5 minutes away from Sylvania Waters. I've been to many different Indian restaurants previously but this restaurant was different from others. From the moment we walked into the restaurant the atmosphere was cold and uninviting. Customer service was unfriendly & poor. One order did not even show up until we had to call her to get it. My meal was not too bad but 2 others did not even finish their meals. My wife and I had a hankering for Indian food,but where to go? Have driven past Jaspaul for 30 years , so thought we would give it a go. Small space, old decor but clean, not many people . Food was excellent, nice clean flavours. Pakoras, madras curry,chicken biryani was particularly delicious,four sambals and naan bread, $50 plus tip. I have some trepidation in writing this review as I may be spreading the word and therefore making this restaurant busy and noisy. One of its charms is that you can actually hear yourself think, what restaurant have you been to lately that you can say that!
Been eTing at this unobtrusive little place for yearsDecor, well it's interesting!The place is spotless.The service is very relaxed family feel.The food is just brilliant.Their tandoori dishes are cooked to perfection in a proper tandoori oven.A must is the spicy dip as a starter, it really gets the taste buds going.Mains are very traditional with the various meat dishes of varying heat intensity always melt in your mouth.An excellent range of naan breads with a favourite being fruit and nut.In summary not flash, not expensive, byo with some of the best Indian food in Stdney.

I have been coming to Jaspaul's since I was a kid with my parents, and I never get over how amazing it is. I've taken numerous friends there and they all love it. The owners know me and know what I order, and it never fails! If you ever feel like butter chicken, please go - no other place has ever even come close to how amazing it is! I'll be back for another visit soon.
A lovely family restaurant, the food is great, excellent choice, BYO no corkage charge, if you want a home delivery they do that also.I have been with a large range of people and or family always good service.I have been many times over lots of years even had a Birthday Party for and elderly relative.
Great little restaurant friendly hosts fabulous fresh food generous servings and very reasonable prices BYO I am becoming a regular at this restaurant because it such good value and more importantly I love the Entrees
Ordered lamb rogan josh. Lamb was still cold. If you like nice Indian food find somewhere else!!! Owners didn't even ask how my meal was even though I had eaten less than half.

As i said the butter chicken is second to none. Friendly waitress. All freshly made curries. Prices are ok, could be a bit cheaper.
Been eating the butter chicken for years and haven't found a better one in the world. Would recommend you try it.
