This place has a vibe that is simply awesome. It hasn’t always been that way, but since the new ownership in the last couple of years, it’s turned into a serene, friendly, fantastic atmosphere. The staff is very attentive, and the food and coffee is excellent. I had a large decaf Americano with almond milk and a Reuben. The Ruben was really hot and plenty of meat. The side of macaroni salad had bacon, cucumbers and red onion and was very tasty. I added a little salt, but I love too much salt ?. I’ve been patronizing this place off and on for about 20 years, but the new owner Eric has a really fantastic TikTok presence that I can’t help being drawn to. I hate to leave a bad review but I was shocked at the service. To start, the baristas looked like they had been partying until 3am and just woke up. However, that’s just the cherry on top. We ordered 4 drinks and a muffin. My aunt ended up just ordering a tea because the staff couldn’t tell us how the drink she wanted to order was made and the girl putting the order in raised her eyebrows annoyed. The other barista had to go in the back to ask how one of the “Java Groove” specials was made. After waiting 20 minutes for our muffin and my drink my boyfriend was asking about his basic iced coffee and they had forgotten his drink. I had been planning to visit this coffee shop for a while. I follow the owner, Eric, on TikTok @javadadlife) and I was very excited. I had never been to Denver before, but Java Groove is a definite go to. The coffee shop was very cozy and very laidback. I was mostly in awe of the environment and finally meeting Eric for the first time. I thought the service was great, the food was delicious, and just gave such a positive vibe. Eric is very wholesome when it comes to interacting with customers. I had a very positive experience when I was the a few days ago. I would definitely come back.
One of my favorite spots to get coffee and a snack anywhere. Amazing staff and a cozy little vibe inside that's really amazing. Love this place! Their breakfast burrito is a highlight of my morning, not to mention the toasted marshmallow latte!! Eric (owner) is a very kind person and always respectful, greets me when I walk in. They can get busy but it's a coffee shop, got to expect that a little bit at any coffee shop. The service was rude, and our order was incorrect. The coffee was disappointing, and the food was average at best. We waited 30 minutes for three breakfast burritos and a kids' pancake, even though the restaurant wasn't busy. Overall, it wasn't worth the price or the poor service. I won't be going back.
