So let it start badly because everything else was amazing! The parking lot and the place in the restaurant were ugh! If it's small inside and you feel like you're up on everyone. Had that part really! There is also a way to eat outside. Apart from that, this place is a must! The drinks are amazing that I had a strawberry mimosa. There are a variety of teas and coffees. We had an amazing waiter Brianna, who was very well informed about everything on the menu and although occupied us felt like their top priority. The food was delicious. Surely satisfied. And it's close to the beach!
There was a 45min waiting period expected on a Sunday morning so there was no problem. Saw down and was greeted by a very nice waiter who was eager to explain the menu and go through what we wanted. I have the steak and eggs with French toast and a caramel frog. My friend got the shrimps and grits with one side of cookies and Gravy he absolutely loved his meal and everything looked fresh, but my was not so good the steak was ready and dry, although I asked for medium and the French toast was a bit burned but not taste terrible. I guess it's a hit or miss. meal for 2 $65
My friend brought me here after 6 months to talk about how great this place is. The ambience, food and service were amazing! I can't say enough about this place. The left picture is Live, Love, Life Benedict and I had the Flatiron steak and eggs with cheese grits and south biscuit. Girlfriend had fresh watermelon juice with vodka and I had a cranberry and fresh peach purée mimosa. This place is so busy when you go early. Best brunch in Jax Beach!
Long wait but totally worth it. We sat at the bar...service was friendly, fast, and included appropriate Sunday morning banter. Even the other guests were easy going and we had conversation with everyone around us. Food was made with love and it shows. If ever in the area again, I'd definitely be back!
