Do you want to know where the locals are going? You found it. Jax is a diner where the locals go for drinks and a cheap meal. Don't go through those doors looking for fast food. You won't find it here. This is good food and cheap prices. How do they offer quality at a fair price? I came yesterday in the warm but windy mid afternoon, 03/07. We've never been here before, but we're fascinated to check it out. We came in to be very welcomed by the staff who let us choose where we wanted to sit, as we decided to sit outside. It was a nice place to eat on a bench with an umbrella if necessary, as we did not today. We were supported by our waitress along with the drinks and menu, as it was a bit slower when we arrived, but it was between people picking up work and dinner. Best sandwiches I had since we were here!! The pickles are so delicious highly recommended for some. Great drink selection and a huge menu. Pasta Salat wasn't my favorite, but it was good. Servers are so beautiful and very fast. We sat outside what was great because it was beautiful. The building is cool, it has a different mood than most restaurants. Can't wait to come back and try more! Definitely recommend this place if you have not tried.
Great service. Great food. Great value. Katie, a part of the ownership team, is an amazing ambassador for this eatery. Her tableside manner was warm and inviting, a real pleasure to visit with. The free pickles were really great, thick cut dill pickles. The Reuben was awesome. Best I ever had and the Great Cantona pizza was abundantly topped and well prepared.
