First time in Jaxana, but visit Santa Cruz every year or two from a city with an amazing culinary scene. I understand that context is everything and there is not a lot of choice when it come to Asian restaurnants in the region, but this place is simply not good enough. I 'd really had high expectations reading the reviews, but flavour-wise, it is just so bland and uninteresting. Between us, we had gyozas, makis, cantonese pork with rice, Indonesian nasi goreng. Whoever cooks here is technically competent (gyozas were well made and rice nicely cooked), but was is one of the blandest Asian cooking I 'd had in a long time (the only worse one was actually also in Santa Cruz, called Tagami I beli...
We were rather surprised to find out that the degustation menu, the oysters and the scallops were not offered on the night we were there, as the restaurant was closing for a week as from the next day. We had booked a table long in advance and were going to order the degustation menu. Nevertheless, we found something to order. Well-presented and a fun twist on known dishes. Modern interior and friendly service.
very rich, good service, friendly staff, good food. nice atmosphere. the prices of the wines something excessive, like the ones of the dishes, for the quantities, but it must be admitted that everything was very good and of quality. my advice..I realized something the prices..and more in the times when we walked.
the attention in jaksana exceeds everything you can imagine. Erika treatment is exceptional, recalled a detail about an ingredient that my husband should avoid, was the famous guide to a delicately prepared meal. a thousand congratulations for the love they put to what they do.

Totally wonderful evening! The sushi was so good and the unusual combinations made it exciting to try. The traditionally roasted ribs were so tender they could have been eaten with a spoon and tasted fantastic. Try the Japanese Brandys!
Very good Japanese restaurant. very good quality, very good offer, rich and original dishes. We loved everything, we should not forget to take place for dessert.
