The “owners wife” was pretty rude. We racked up over $100 in drinks between our group and we’re willing to spend more. Rude comments started to come from her to the point where we left and went to a way better bar (JTs in carol stream, please go here instead of Jaxx). A couple we were sitting next to also left because of her rudeness and they would accept their coupons.
Not a good first experience. Cherri who supposedly is the owner is rude and IInattentive to your drinks. She doesn’t know how to make simple drinks and doesn’t know the beers on draft right behind her. The burger we ordered was over cooked and not worth the price we paid. My gf was being hit on the whole time by a bunch of drunk men in their upper 50s. Creeps.
I went to play trivia and use a gift certificate with my family, but even though it doesn't have an expiration date, they refused to honor it. I found this to be quite shady, especially since the rules were not clearly communicated. There are plenty of other dining options available.

I had the black melted burger with zets, and I enjoyed Modelo beers all night to kick off the long weekend. The service was quick, although our bartender seemed a bit inexperienced. The side portion was massive, and overall, this is a cozy little spot to drink and have a good time.
Service was ok, very fast but our server wasn't enjoying herself and we could tell. That being said, it was one person running the bar and tending to tables so, I could understand them being overwhelmed. Food was pretty food and the drinks were strong.
Watch your tab at this place. They like to take more on to it. We watched them triple our shots and then asked for what our tap was at and watched them scramble and come back twice to ask what we had ordered. They will scam you
the first time for me. my friends played there. the personal was friendly and the eating was good. limited beer selection, but a few go to standards like murphys stout.

Sherry and Adam were so great, Adam made my burger to perfection, nice little spot, stop in here and have great food especially if Adam is there
The food was decent, but the service was lacking. I won’t be returning.
