Okay so this is different. I drove by this cafe, stopped by and decided to give this cafe a try. A little history on Jazzve it originated from Armenia and is a popular cafe spot in Armenia. Now the owner decided to recreate this in the heart of Glendale (2nd Armenia ; due to COVID restrictions, they 're unable to utilize the inside space; which the employees said they plan on serving a menu to please many appetites. This is the first time that we are at this restaurant/cozy banquet hall. Our friend had a baby and was celebrating that occasion here with us. The place has live music, and it's beautiful. It's newly opened andnicely designed. What's really important as well, is the fresh and delicious food. We are having so much fun, service is wonderful. Manager Lusine is a great hostess, her beautiful smile and warm welcoming are priceless. Singer Natasha is wonderful. Live music, beautiful songs made this evening even more special. This place is on my bookmark now, will be back for sure.
This place is brand new in December 2020. For those that don't know, a czeve (pronounced Jazzve) is a Turkish coffee pot. They don't have their entire indoor setup open yet because of COVID but they have an outdoor tent area where they served a mix of mexican and mediterranean food. They served me a really good shawarma sandwich and my buddy got the torta. He said it was better than the one he gets from the Mexican place down the street. For now, it's cash only. But that should change once they're fully operational for indoor service.
Very pleased with this banquet hall! The owner, Armen, took care of everything and told us that our event will be one amazing one and thats exactly how it happend! The food was delicious, from the appetizers to the main course everything was amazing! The staff at this banquet hall Were beyond amazing! This is my second visit, and I must say, the food and service are both excellent. Armen and Satenik, the manager, are fantastic. I ordered tea and asked for a sugar cube, and she went above and beyond to get it for me. I highly recommend this place! They also have live music. We're planning to hold our high school reunion here soon. Definitely a 5-star experience!
The owners and management here are quite rude. They play incredibly loud music all evening and into the night, likely using professional outdoor speakers. I called to politely ask them to lower the volume because of the nearby residential area, but the person I spoke with bluntly told me they wouldn't do that and said I could call the police if I wanted to.
I absolutely love the food here! The shawarma is incredible! The grilled jalapeño and the tzatziki sauce that comes with the shawarma are perfect. I will definitely return and recommend this place to all my friends and family!
