When the dishes arrived, our cuts of meat were not cooked to our specifications. We ended up sending back my wife's steak for a re-cook. It took over ten minutes to prepare a 4 oz. piece of meat rare, which was frustrating since we had finished the rest of our meal by then.
As this was my first experience at JB's, I'm hesitant to leave a positive review at this point. I wasn't impressed with the service, and while I understand they may have been overwhelmed by the earlier crowd, that's no excuse. When you're paying around $30 for a meal, you expect better.

JB’s Steakhouse For Robinson, JB’s Steakhouse is the only “upscale” dining establishment. It is conveniently located on the square, right across from the courthouse. We ate here two times while staying in town on an extended business trip. On the first visit, I chose the steak from the “Two for” menu. While cooked to the correct temperature, the steak was a bit tough and lacked flavor. The baked potato was OK, and the bread pudding was delicious for dessert! I chose the pork chop on the second visit. It was excellent. The lettuce wedge salad was very tasty, too! On both occasions, the staff was friendly and provided excellent service.

This restaurant really knows how to prepare a fantastic steak! The menu clearly indicates how each cut will be cooked based on your preference. I like my steak medium well, and they absolutely nailed it—PERFECTLY!!! The garlic butter compote on top was a wonderful and unexpected treat. The service is exceptional, with friendly smiles all around! I can't wait to come back to this place; it’s definitely worth the visit! Thank you, JB's, for making my birthday celebration so memorable!

We booked the private room for a wedding reception, and we had an amazing time! The food was fantastic, and we enjoyed wine and cocktails, even popping champagne for the bride and groom. I particularly loved how they have collected old menus from around the world and displayed them on the walls—it felt like a delightful little museum!
Honestly if you go during the week the 2 for $49 is a great deal with great food! They have a wide assortment of food options and drink options to pair with each meal.Kid-friendliness: they have good kid friendly optionsParking: lots of parking in front of the building and around the square if needed.
We had a very good meal of steak and shrimp. I wish I could have eaten it all. I would have liked to have had more choices but we all enjoyed it.
Absolutely nothing negative about this place. Especially the Monday thru Thursday couples special.

The bread and the chocolate lava cake was delicious! The sirloin had a good taste but very tuff!
