Their garlic toast is incredible, and their potato salad is, without a doubt, the best I’ve ever had—I’ve tried potato salads from all over the place! This hidden gem is located in an unassuming spot that you might easily overlook while driving along Saratoga Avenue. However, for those of us who discovered it years ago, it has become a beloved favorite. Prices have gone WAY up... Quality has gone WAY down... This is not what it used to be back in the day. It 's under new ownership now. The guy won 't even give you a glass of water... you have to purchase one of his for $3 or more.. Food came out cold. Also, ordered 3 pork rib/1 chicken dinner and you get one regular size rib and 2 mini ribs total came out to $23-24 after the tip that he 's watching you write down on the receipt.. Won 't be back anytime soon... Better places to go...
Finally a good BBQ place in the Bay Area. The beef and the pork ribs are amazing. The chicken is tasty and not dry like in ever other bbq place. Sides were also good. Potato salad is delicious and beans are well done. The best thing a about this place is that the food and the sauce are not just sugar like in many other places. The bake beans are tasty and not sugary. Level of sugar was perfect in everything.Service is as good as the food. Perfect place.
JC's has been my go-to BBQ spot for over 25 years. I LOVE LOVE LOVE their beef ribs! The meat is always falling off the bone. And they're big! The hot links are addictive, the chicken is perfect and when I used to work close by, on my lunch break I would frequently get their pulled pork. I'm obsessed with the garden salad dressing!! Always so consistently fresh and crisp! Would recommend 10 out of 10! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Decided to try a new BBQ spot. If I were to use one word to describe the experience I 'd have to say disappointing . I know the bay area isn 't known for BBQ but this really ain 't it. Chicken was dry, ribs were gross, the sauce was terrible. With the exception of the bread (which wasn 't amazing but decent) all other sides were terrible. We tried them all.
Bad decor, no customer service, drentched in bbq sauce no flavor or good cook on meat. Went for lunch special and not many good choices tasted frozen. Worst potato salad and regular salad qas lettuce with a galon of ranch. No care for food or kind service. Wish i cancled my order. Price per person: $30–50 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
This place serves the best beef ribs! Many BBQ spots don’t have them, but I’ve been coming here for years and the quality of the food has never wavered. I’ve traveled from far and wide just to enjoy the beef ribs, and I keep coming back to JC's BBQ!
I was craving for barbecue Beef ribs so I wanted to check out this place, close to my work. Ribs were pretty good but little pricey! I paid $25 for my order with 1 piece of garlic bread.Food: 3/5
