Second time here, first time we came to eat was last year. On our visit today it was a bit busy, but we waited 35+ minutes for a chicken Caesar salad, a burger and wings is a bit much. I asked our kind server if we were close and she replied there are a lot of tables. Low and behold she came back with our food, which I presume had been sitting for some time. Wings were crispy (a good thing) and room temperature at best. Burger dry and flavorless and fries seemed to be either microwaved or who knows?just plain soggy. Now, onto the chicken Caesar salad?.you can?t screw that up can you? Well yes you can?.it was made with iceberg lettuce. That?s a first and to boot, the chicken was room temp as well. Oh and the celery that came with the wings was abundant and was not edible?..looks like it was soaked in water for a week. I think they gave me and my daughter the good stuff. Obviously no quality control at this place or they just don?t care.
8/19 I and my daughters decided to stop and eat our favorite wings before they go home. I ordered lemon pepper wings and pommes as usual. Well, I'll take a bite in the first wing and something falls on the table. I look down and it's a crazy snail!!!! And a big one. I jumped from the table and got the waitress attention she came and apologized, got a napkin and got her from the table. She told the woman who was responsible, and she just looked in our direction (no came to say a word). The kitchen cooks even came out. I and my daughters went and had to go to McDonald to get food instead. Outside the sweetly worried waitress, the others didn't care about ALL? Someone who is higher must interfere, no customer wants a snail in there food and it makes it even worse if the people in the facility do not even care.
There was a slight unknown smell when we entered that nobody else noticed, acidic wood or something? Food was really good and so was the service. Mexican type tortilla chips came with my wings and it would have been great to have salsa with them. They were good anyway. Woman had no complaints with her salad . (This is all she had) I think I'm a conservative and CNN (Anderson Cooper) on a few of the big screens seemed a little over the top, but I think neutral messages are a thing of the past. Overall, I would eat there again if I were in the area.
As we withdraw from Savannah, we try to swing as often as possible from Jefferson. Eating is always at the point. Service is good, no matter how busy. Recently the buffalo had shrimps with the honey-sriracha. Funky Combo but was absolutely delicious. Give him a shot if you want good food with a cool atmosphere.
