Visits with family and had a really great experience. The food was amazing! The staff (which we met at the reception) were not very accommodating. We had a reservation in advance and the terrace was comparatively empty. But they wanted to put us there. At the latest, a high-level staff arrived, made us welcome and gave us a great place on the terrace. Overall, we appreciate the service. We tried the devilled eggs, shrimps Calamari frites, chopped salad, chicken meatballs and apple herbs. Everything was delicious, except the meatballs that could use some improvement. It felt like it was probably cooked/damped, so not really had the meatball essence. Also the margarita was almost quite bitter...

Updated, 2-26-22: Two of us had dinner tonight. Great food. Sixty South Salmon Salad was really good again, excellent. My bride had the Thai steak salad... a dish I almost chose. It was delicious, attractive, also good. Service at a table-for-zwo in the crowded bar was fast and friendly. Previous review: Great food, as always. I think it's a new menu since my last visit. I had the juicy Sixty South Salmon Salad. Excellent dish, salmon was beautifully drilled. Only the problem today was the temperature of the room; the workers were hot, and I liked them, but the garage-style door was opened and cold air broke over us for most night. First time dining here and it absolutely did not disappoint! Absolutely a gem in Chagrin Falls! Beautiful location on the river, wonderful ambiance and superb food! I was so happy that the evening special was a scallop entree. Without hesitation I went for it! Exceeded my expectations! Kudos to the chef and the wait staff. Absolutely top notch!!! Shout out to our Alex R for taking excellent care of us and the other friendly team members we encountered. We are looking forward to returning to this charming location and will request Alex in the future!

This is one of the best restaurants where the food is brilliant, the servers are very good, and the outside view is too good. You can see a waterfall from the restaurants that are so beautiful. Try their Grandma Biscuit (home recipe), dynamite shrimp, fish and chips etc. You're so good. Our server has interacted a lot with my 10 months old child we liked most. Overall I give this place a 5 star

I and my family loved our culinary experience on the 17 River Grille. We sat with a window view of the chagrin river waterfall, which was great. For drinks we ordered a few lemon drops and a Moscow mule. For appetizers we enjoyed the heavenly cookies with honey butter
